To you your sling is more than just a strap to carry your rifle or shotgun. It is an important shooting accessory that needs to be quickly adjustable in the field to use as a hasty sling to make you a more accurate shooter or to extend the length to strap it across your back to free up both hands to drag your trophy or carry gear. This is the sling you want. This is our slider buckle sling. Just grab the slider buckle with one hand and slide it to adjust it to the desired length. Tension on the buckle holds it firmly in place. This sling model has brown buffalo leather and black hardware. Brown color high quality genuine buffalo leather. Adjusts from about 26 inches to about 40 inches. 1.25-inch-wide leather strap. Solid brass black Chicago screws. Solid brass black slider buckle. Solid brass black rivets. Steel all metal black sling swivels are included. Handmade one at a time in my shop in Detroit, Michigan. Each sling is cut and the holes are punched using hand tools. The edges are beveled by hand but have an unfinished rustic edge. You might just like a rustic edge better than a finished edge, or maybe you want to save some money over our finished edge slings. This is the same as our Model F sling only with rustic edges. A note about our sling swivels: The nut is free spinning, which means that when the nut is tightened to close it, the nut will spin freely until positively engaged. In other words, the nut is not supposed to tighten down. That is an intentional product design to help prevent accidental opening.
